About the role:

  • Support service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey, providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community through advocacy and partnership services.
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement, enabling social reintegration and recovery.
  • Design and deliver structured content within group settings, engaging with debriefing and evaluations.
  • Tailor workshops to meet the needs of service users, addressing topics such as anger management and relationships.

About You:

  • Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience working in a similar field.
  • Be an excellent communicator with good IT skills, able to work proactively and manage time effectively.
  • Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.
  • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in partnership with various professionals and stakeholders.
