About the Role

Midas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team as an Area Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of foodservice accounts and driving business growth through effective menu planning and food costing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of foodservice accounts, including cross-selling and upselling to existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the foodservice industry.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure Midas remains competitive.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience within the foodservice sector, preferably with a foodservice manufacturer or wholesaler.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice operations, including menu planning and food costing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving business targets and objectives.
