About the Role
As Deputy Head of Young Learners, you will oversee two summer centres, ensuring the delivery of our programmes meets client satisfaction and safeguarding children across all Bell YL programmes. This permanent role is based in Cambridge with flexibility to work from home or travel to centres as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Project manage assigned YL programmes and courses, including full ownership of at least two summer school projects.
- Assist the Head of YL in leading Operations and Recruitment Coordinators and onsite staff.
- Liaise with sales to ensure effective capacity management.
- Maintain communications and proactively manage host school liaison officers.
- Lead student welfare policy and procedures, ensuring high-level care for students visiting Bell YL centres.
- Review and develop induction and training procedures for welfare staff across all Bell YL centres.
- Liaise with IT for technical support and resources.
- Ensure rigorous incident reporting and follow-up action.
- Deputise for the Head of YL on operational matters and provide guidance to the team.
- Act as a Designated Safeguarding Officer and ensure appropriate safeguarding provision and compliance if necessary.
- Conduct site visits to monitor, evaluate, and develop programmes.
- Represent the department and Bell at meetings and conferences.

About You
The ideal candidate has experience managing educational programmes and strong background in student welfare and safeguarding. Excellent leadership and communication skills are required, along with organisational and project management skills. A commitment to maintaining high standards of student care and satisfaction is paramount.
