About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Havens Hospices. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to our young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage the needs of patients, ensuring their care is delivered to the highest standard and reflects their individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.
  • Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with our policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new care initiatives and services.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • First-level degree or diploma in nursing.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of working with children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
