We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partnerships Manager to join our team at Octopus Capital Ltd. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in building and growing our partnerships to enhance our market presence and deliver value to new customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a partnerships strategy to drive business growth and expand our market presence.
- Identify and engage new potential partners through various methods, including managing inbound enquiries, direct outreach, and attending events.
- Nurture a portfolio of partnerships throughout their pipeline journey, from pitching to building long-term relationships.
- Lead commercial and legal negotiations with potential partners, securing partnership agreements.
- Develop and manage our partnership and affiliate program, creating attractive and commercially sound propositions.
- Monitor and manage partners, designing innovative solutions to maximize performance and reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other business functions to develop partnership propositions, prepare marketing materials, and onboard new partners.
- Prepare and adapt various communications tailored to the audience, including presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Previous success in a partnerships role with experience in building and managing a pipeline of partners and contributing to partnerships strategy.
- A growth mindset to drive forward progress with vision and creativity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to establish, develop, and maintain relationships.
- Ability to assess what makes a good commercial partnership and develop a vision for each partner relationship.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to work autonomously and take accountability for your workload.
- Experience managing the full partner or account life cycle, from finding and developing relationships to negotiating and finalizing agreements.
- Independence, entrepreneurial flair, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced scale-up environment.
