Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for our children, using established recipes and following food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare meals for our children, taking into account dietary requirements and allergies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies via supermarket home deliveries.
  • Clear up and clean lunch tables in each of our 3 Nursery rooms, and wash all dishes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Availability to work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and relevant qualifications.
  • Ability to work efficiently during busy times and multitask effectively.
  • Good time management skills and a passion for cooking.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Additional Information

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £12.00 per hour, with additional benefits including company pension and employee discount. We also offer a flexible schedule, allowing for a great work-life balance.
