**MAKE A DIFFERENCE... **We are currently recruiting a Relief Catering Assistant to join our team on a sessional basis at the George Steven Community Hub and Community Kitchen

This is a unique environment where you will work as part of a strong and supportive team. Learn new skills and meet new people who strive towards the same outcomes.

As a Relief Catering Assistant, you will work with members of the public, including some of the most vulnerable individuals in our locality and our service users who are adults with learning and physical disabilities.

Excellent communication skills, previous experience in a catering environment and an empathetic approach are essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation of food
- Take customer orders face to face and over the phone
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Maintain tidiness, cleanliness, and hygiene in all areas
- Assist with the serving of meals and drinks
- Use and clean kitchen appliances safely and responsibly
