About Lipson Lloyd-Jones

We are a leading global law firm seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join our in-house legal team.

The Role

As a member of our in-house legal function, you will handle a diverse workload, including:

  1. Providing legal advice to our senior management on business-critical issues, such as mergers and acquisitions and organizational restructuring.
  2. Regulatory matters: Collaborating with our Risk and Compliance team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations in our operations and business activities. This may involve advising on professional standards, ethics, conflicts, financial crime, supplier contracts, and terms and conditions.
  3. Risk management: Identifying and mitigating legal risks, implementing strategies to minimize risk.
  4. Employee relations: Offering legal guidance on employment-related matters across our global network.
  5. Professional indemnity: Procuring relevant insurance protection, liaising with brokers and insurers.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a qualified lawyer (England and Wales) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in insurance or risk management. Your expertise in the SRA Handbook and Code of Conduct is essential. Experience in employment law is a plus. Strong commercial acumen and exceptional communication skills are required.
