Position Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Counsel to become part of a close-knit in-house legal team. Collaborating closely with senior legal professionals, you will engage in a variety of intellectually stimulating tasks, ranging from general commercial agreements to extensive IT projects, and everything in between. While the team primarily focuses on the UK market, many of the contracts you will handle will involve international components.

The legal department plays a crucial role within the organization, allowing you to contribute significantly to the company's success and be recognized for your efforts. This position is ideal for a lawyer transitioning from private practice seeking their first in-house legal role, or for an existing legal counsel eager to join a growing, innovative global firm.

Candidate Profile:
  1. Commercial lawyer with 2 - 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
  2. Ideally trained at a reputable private practice law firm
  3. Applications may be considered from candidates in other practice areas, such as corporate M&A or construction
  4. Strong academic background
  5. Commercially aware individual seeking to act as a 'business partner'
What We Offer:

Salary: negotiable based on experience, typically around £65-75k

Bonus: consistent annual bonus of approximately 20%

Flexibility: a highly hybrid work environment, with office attendance based on individual preference and business requirements, usually 1-2 days per week.

Travel: international travel is a necessary aspect of the role.
