Mental Health Support Specialist

Job Overview:
A leading educational institution, Academics, is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join their team. This role will involve providing vital support to children who struggle with mental health.
About the Role:
This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate working closely with a Year 3 pupil who requires support for SEMH, as well as supporting a Year 6 pupil with ASD and ADHD who is part of a small group with complex needs.
The ideal candidate will have either a Psychology Graduate or experience working with ASD, ADHD, and SEN. In this role, you will be valued as a member of a vital team and supported throughout your time there.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom
- Helping children understand teacher instructions
- Working one-on-one with learners in the classroom or with individuals/small groups in the Learning Support department
- Keeping track and recording pupil progress
What We Offer:
- Location: Slough, Berkshire
- Salary: £80-90 per day
- Full-time hours: 8:30am-4pm
