**The Role**

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Train Presentation team as a Train Presentation Operative - Fleet Cleaner. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our fleet of trains is clean and ready for service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Clean East Midlands Railway fleet carriages to a high standard
  • Work to high standards within a tight deadline
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Delivery team to ensure carriages are ready for service on time each day
  • Provide excellent customer service through quality of work and customer-facing opportunities
  • Perform water tanking on the train
  • Adhere to health and safety standards in all aspects of your work
  • Occasionally work from alternative East Midlands Railway locations if required
  • Occasionally travel on trains across our network to assist with cleaning duties

**Requirements**

  • Motivated individual with a desire to contribute to a customer-service focused environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements, including COSHH
  • Positive attitude towards cleaning standards
  • Experience of cleaning duties
  • Previous experience in a pressurized and demanding environment

**Working Arrangements**

This role requires shift working, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You'll need to be able to travel to London St Pancras station within 60 minutes' travelling time by other means of transportation, as some shifts may require you to report for work before the first train service or end work after the last train service.
