Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion in the EMEALA region.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with consulting engineers, design & build contractors, and colocation operators to promote Johnson Controls' fire solutions and increase market share.

You will work closely with our regional offices, global products, and other JCI teams to pursue projects and opportunities based on account assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue expansion in the EMEALA region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Work closely with regional offices, global products, and other JCI teams to pursue projects and opportunities
  • Provide feedback to management and factory teams on customer perception, competitive moves, and industry trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Business, or relevant experience
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving fire sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Ability to travel between 25%-50% of the time, both local and within EMEALA
  • Fluent language skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of experience selling fire solutions within the data centres industry
  • An existing network/relationships within the data centres industry (consulting engineers, contractors, and colocation operators)
