Job Summary:

Transport Planner Vacancy

We are currently seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team in Nelson. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the planning and scheduling of routes for our fleet of vehicles
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  3. Monitor and analyse transport performance to identify areas for improvement
  4. Implement changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  5. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in transport planning or a related field
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  5. Basic understanding of transport regulations and laws
