Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Specialist to join our team as a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 2.

About the School: Our school is a one-form entry primary school located in the Nelson area. We have a long-standing senior leadership team and talented practitioners throughout the key stages. Our Head Teacher places great importance upon the development of her staff and is keen to facilitate training and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 2.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help.
  • Lead intervention groups in Phonics and Mathematics, helping students to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality support to students.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is estimated at £13,400 - £14,300 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
