Teaching Assistant Role for Children with Special Needs

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Teaching Assistant to provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our educational setting.
Job Summary: The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to implement strategies in line with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), deliver targeted interventions, and foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualised support plans for pupils with SEN.
- Deliver high-quality interventions to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional progress.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes children's confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-agency team to provide holistic support for pupils.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD.
- Knowledge of implementing EHCP targets and working within the SEN Code of Practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits:
- £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
