We are looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our school.

Job Overview: The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to children with SEN, delivering targeted interventions and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with teachers to develop and implement individualised support plans for pupils with SEN.
  • Deliver high-quality interventions to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional progress.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes children's confidence and independence.
  • Collaborate with a multi-agency team to provide holistic support for pupils.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide regular feedback.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD.
  • Knowledge of implementing EHCP targets and working within the SEN Code of Practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
