Teaching Assistant Position

We are currently recruiting for a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an EYFS/KS1 setting at an Ofsted 'Good' Primary School in Pendle. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and care for children with complex needs. Your passion for education and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people will shine through in your daily work.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have ASD/ADHD and a strong understanding of the importance of building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. They will be able to think creatively and develop innovative strategies to engage pupils and promote inclusive learning environments.

Compensation: £19,000-24,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Your duties will include:
  • Assisting in the delivery of lessons and activities tailored to individual pupils' needs
  • Supporting pupils in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills
  • Collaborating with the educational team to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans
  • Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and attending regular meetings with teachers and parents
  • Contributing to the overall well-being and safety of the school community
