Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our expanding business in the construction sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients and identifying new opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a consultative approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with our project management and design teams to produce and close quotes, as well as develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our services via email, telephone canvassing, and social media channels.
Responsibilities- Gain an accurate brief from clients and work with project teams to produce and close quotes.
- Take responsibility for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our services.
- Proven experience working in a business development role, with a confident phone manner and experience of negotiating.
- Consultative sales approach and outlook, capable of nurturing and developing client relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant industry experience and a proven track record in business development.
- A consultative sales approach and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,500 per annum, plus commission, bonuses, and incentives. You will also benefit from working in a brand-new office space with state-of-the-art facilities, including a kitchen and onsite gym. The role is office-based, with occasional travel to visit clients and local authorities within your region. Due to the location of the office, you will need your own transport.
