Business Development Consultant, Middle East Practice

We are a fast-growing management consulting and data science company dedicated to innovation in healthcare. Our team works across the entire healthcare industry, including Health Systems and Life Sciences companies, as well as collaborating with health investors and their portfolio companies. As a Business Development Consultant, you will play a pivotal role within our Middle East team. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development of our business plan, business development strategy, including raising awareness, key account management, managing our opportunity pipeline, and ensuring the high quality of proposals and bid processes.

Your role will be crucial in liaising with our marketing function, collaborating with the Business Development Manager and with Partners, and coordinating support to maximise our business development efforts. This requires a proactive team member who can horizon scan, build strong relationships with client procurement teams, and network with potential partners. It will require understanding Health Systems and Life Sciences space and staying attuned to market developments, particularly in key Middle Eastern markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies to drive growth and innovation in the healthcare industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and develop our opportunity pipeline, ensuring high-quality proposals and bid processes.
  • Collaborate with our marketing function to create compelling content and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and trends in the healthcare industry, particularly in key Middle Eastern markets.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry and experience within strategy or management consulting.
  • Strong business development acumen, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to organisational growth.
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience developing compelling content for proposals in both PowerPoint and Word formats.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive plans to address complex challenges for the healthcare industry.
  • Good workload management skills, including multitasking, and delivering successful outcomes within tight timeframes.
