Sales Role Overview

Austin Fraser is recruiting an experienced Area Sales Manager - Plastic Building Products to join our team in North London & East Anglia. As an Area Sales Manager - Plastic Building Products, you will be responsible for managing and selling a range of plastic building products, including fascia & soffit, rainwater cladding, guttering, and panel products.


About the Job

We seek a sales professional with experience selling to merchants/distributors and contractors. Your expertise in developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers will be crucial in driving sales growth and meeting targets.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Sell plastic building products to distributors, merchants, housebuilders, developers, and contractors.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets, with a focus on growing sales revenue by circa £5-6 million.
  4. Contribute to market insights and competitive analysis to inform product development and sales strategies.

Requirements and Offerings

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A proven track record of sales success in a similar industry or sector.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  3. A deep understanding of the plastic building products market, including trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  4. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business objectives.
