Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs. We are currently seeking an experienced Area Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical sales, with experience selling to national/independent electrical wholesalers and electrical contractors. You will possess excellent commercial acumen, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

This is a field-based role, requiring frequent travel to meet with customers and develop new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with a passion for building relationships and driving sales growth.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus bonus circa £12,000.

The role involves:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities and increasing sales revenue.
  • Working closely with the sales team to achieve business objectives and sales forecasts.
  • Conducting market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  • Must have electrical sales experience selling to wholesalers and electrical contractors.
  • Must be commercially astute.
  • Must be driven and self-motivated.
