National Business Growth Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Panton McLeod. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic development and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and convert new business opportunities to increase revenue and drive sustainable profit growth.
- Support Regional Directors in winning new business and expanding on existing revenue streams.
- Focus business development activities on the most beneficial clients and services.
- Understand the competitive landscape and maintain existing development momentum.
- Actively seek and follow up new business opportunities aligned to organisational strategic goals.
- Communicate new service developments to existing and prospective clients.
- Maintain and develop client relationships through targeted networking and client meetings.
- Possess a positive attitude and be committed to high levels of care for staff and clients.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and prioritise work.
- Full, UK driving licence.
- A willingness to travel nationwide with regular overnight stays.
- Strategically penetrate B2B markets, specifically focusing on business opportunities in the water, industrial and environmental sectors.
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies that effectively integrate Panton McLeod's solutions to meet diverse client needs.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in our target sectors.
- Lead market analysis efforts to anticipate trends and align our offerings with market demands.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales plans are well integrated with overall business objectives.
- Utilise and enhance our CRM systems to optimise sales processes and improve customer engagement.
- Experienced in bid and tender management process.
- Experience in commercial contract management and negotiation.
- Experience in the delivery of water projects at an operational level.
- A competitive salary of £43k to £48k per annum.
- Hybrid working arrangements between our office and home.
- 30 days Annual Leave (including Bank Holidays), rising to 34 with length of service.
