Role OverviewThe position of Lead Generation Executive is crucial in propelling our sales initiatives and ensuring sustainable sales growth by assisting the sales team in acquiring new clientele.
As an integral member of the Sales team, your primary goal will be to identify and engage potential customers, effectively communicating the value of our company, products, and services. You will provide the Business Development team with qualified leads that can be converted into sales.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate contact with potential customers through core telesales activities, including cold calling and scheduling follow-up meetings for the Business Development Manager (BDM) team.
- Conduct research to identify potential customers, companies, and industries to target high-value prospects.
- Utilize social media and digital platforms to engage with potential customers and secure follow-up meetings for the BDM team.
- Where applicable, manage the customer relationship through to the initial sale before transitioning to the account management team.
- Provide support to the BDM and Account Management teams as needed, including assistance at events.
- Identify new business opportunities, including emerging markets, new clients, and potential partnerships.
- Develop strategies to effectively pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with new customers and businesses.
- Proven experience in a telesales, lead generation, or business development role.
- A successful sales professional with a customer-centric approach.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- A diligent individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Effective communicator with the ability to liaise with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and couriers.
