Risk Governance Specialist

We are currently working with a well-established full-service law firm, looking for a Risk Governance Specialist to lead its risk governance function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the firm's risk management processes align with legal and regulatory requirements.

The RoleYou will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Chief Operating Officer, to oversee a broad range of risk governance and compliance matters. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert guidance on risk governance and compliance.
- Managing risk and compliance, including SRA and FCA compliance models.
- Developing and implementing effective risk governance policies.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and providing recommendations for improvement.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk governance and compliance within legal or financial services.
- Risk or compliance-based qualifications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences.
- Up-to-date knowledge of risk governance and compliance requirements in the legal sector.
