**Job Title:** Corporate Governance Specialist
">At QinetiQ Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team. This role is based at our Farnborough site and offers a competitive salary of £43,000 - £55,000 per annum.
The successful candidate will support company secretarial functions, ensuring compliance with the London Stock Exchange, Corporate Governance Code, and UK Companies Act. You will provide expert advice, comprehensive administrative Board support, and assistance with employee share plans, ensuring compliance with Corporate Governance and Companies Act requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert Company Secretarial advice to protect strategic, operational, reputational, and financial risks.
- Supporting the Company Secretary to ensure compliance with Listing Rules, Disclosure and Transparency Rules, and Corporate Governance Code.
- Contributing to the development of the Company Secretarial function strategy, bringing best practices to raise the profile of the team.
- Providing administrative support and statutory compliance with UK Companies Act for all UK subsidiaries.
- Monitoring and supporting compliance with the Market Abuse Regulation to safeguard the Group from breach of compliance and fines.
- Liaising with Reward, EQ, and Employee Benefit Trust trustees, assisting with awards made to participants in the QinetiQ Group Incentive Scheme.
This role requires an ICSA Qualified individual with excellent understanding of the company secretarial function in a FTSE quoted company. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with excellent attention to detail, and able to work autonomously on tasks and manage own workload.
As this role involves working with sensitive information, applicants must be eligible for SC clearance, as a minimum.
