In today's fast-paced business landscape, effective risk management is crucial for driving success. As an Internal Audit Expert in Corporate Audit at the BMW Group, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening governance, compliance, risk management, and internal control systems.

We seek a highly skilled professional with a strong analytical mindset to join our team in the UK and Ireland. Your expertise will enable us to evaluate business processes and identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate business processes and structures within the BMW Group in the UK and Ireland, focusing on governance, risk management, internal control systems, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop a data-analytics oriented audit approach to identify risk areas and work closely with audited functions to provide an objective and independent perspective.
  • Create concise audit reports summarizing your assessment and derive recommendations for process improvements in collaboration with audited functions.
  • Ensure the sustainable implementation of agreed management actions through follow-up activities.
  • Interact with Senior Management to obtain input for audit projects and present results.

Requirements:
  • Degree in economics, law, mathematics, computer science, science, or technology, or comparable academic degree.
  • Professional work experience in Auditing (internal/external), Financial Services, Accounting, Controlling, or Risk Management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and interest in economic issues and complex topics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional level of English.
  • Intercultural experience, flexibility, and willingness to travel.

Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
