Job Overview

We are seeking to recruit nine Care Workers (Community) to join our team within the Northeast Extra Care Service.

About the Role

The role involves delivering a range of tasks to Clients over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week, with the main aim of promoting and maintaining Client's independence.

Candidates will be expected to work to the demands of the service and will be required to work on a three-shift rota system including early mornings, afternoons and waking nights.

Enhanced rates of pay will be paid for working hours after 7pm at night and before 7am.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake day-to-day tasks such as personal care, dressing, undressing, meal preparation, administering medication, monitoring health and wellbeing, supporting clients to access communal areas, and working alongside Health Care Professionals, South Yorkshire Housing team, families, and colleagues.
  • Answer and respond to unplanned emergencies and report to the DSO.
What We Offer

You don't need previous experience as we'll give you all training and support you need to complete the role.

We offer flexible working hours, good rates of pay (£25,000 - £30,000 per annum), good pension, free uniform, and many other benefits including a minimum of five weeks holiday, extra pay for unsociable hours.
