Job Title: Care Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a Care Worker to join our team at Stonelow Extra Care Establishment in Dronfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of tasks to Clients over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week, to promote and maintain Client independence.

About the Role: The post holder will be required to undertake day-to-day tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, monitoring health and wellbeing, and working alongside Health Care Professionals, South Yorkshire Housing team, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of tasks to Clients over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week.
  • Undertake day-to-day tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, and monitoring health and wellbeing.
  • Work alongside Health Care Professionals, South Yorkshire Housing team, families, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the team and answer and respond to unplanned emergencies.

Requirements: No previous experience is required, as we will provide all necessary training and support. The successful candidate will be required to work on a three-shift rota system, including early mornings, afternoons, and waking nights, with enhanced rates of pay for working hours after 7pm and before 7am.
