Job Summary

Château de Mercuès is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, taking orders and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Answer questions about menu items, including drinks and specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Take ownership of guest requirements and food allergies, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is ensured.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for guests and colleagues.
  • Process charges and payments, handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, working collaboratively to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle guest queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Dedicated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Natural passion and flair for the hospitality industry and food service.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, using initiative and judgment when needed.
  • Ambition to succeed at the highest levels, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
