We are seeking an exceptional Medical Director to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Elowen. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical services and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Clinical Practice: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that our services are delivered to the highest standards.
- Clinical Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance.
- Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop our clinical teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, maintaining a culture of safety and excellence.
- Competitive Salary: £170,000 per year
- Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days plus bank holidays
- Study Leave and Budget: 5 days study leave, study budget, and in-house CPD/peer group programme

- Medical Qualification: Fully GMC registered with a relevant medical qualification

- Leadership Skills: Accomplished leader and clinician with strong line management and communication skills
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity
