We are seeking an exceptional Medical Director - Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Elowen. As a senior medical leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, while also providing strategic guidance and leadership to our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes and service quality.
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to colleagues, ensuring optimal care and treatment for patients.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive business growth and development, while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, while promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and external partners.
- A competitive salary of £170,000 per year.
- 30 days annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays.

- An accomplished leader and clinician with strong line management and communication skills.
- Experienced within a mental health setting and a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of clinical governance.
- Skilled in medical appraisals, clinical supervision, case investigation, and case management.
- A member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) or equivalent.
