HR Officer Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Officer to join our team at Henderson Brown Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will provide generalist operational HR support and be responsible for maintaining up-to-date employee records, driving HR projects, and supporting the administration of starters and leavers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready employee records
  • Drive HR projects assigned by the Head Office of Human Resources (HOHR)
  • Support the administration of starters and leavers, ensuring compliance with HR and payroll procedures
  • Conduct weekly inductions for new employees and ensure all related documentation is completed accurately and promptly
  • Take ownership of HR queries and issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Provide low-level HR advice to line managers on employee relations
  • Assist with identifying and addressing training needs at all levels
  • Work closely with the broader HR team to deliver tasks and projects efficiently
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as HR Administrator or HR Officer
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • CIPD Level 3 certification
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
