About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our manufacturing site in the North West region. The successful candidate will report to the site HR Manager and will be part of a talented and friendly on-site HR team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and develop local workforce initiatives to drive business growth and employee engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate HR analytics to inform project development and prioritize initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on people projects to ensure successful implementation and achieve business objectives.
  • Improve line management capability regarding people matters through effective coaching and guidance.
  • Manage multiple D&G casework, including complex ER situations, and lead and drive Works Council Meetings and Employee Collaboration.
  • Support the Employer Attractiveness and Talent Acquisition team with recruitment and selection activities, promoting Essity as an Employer of Choice.
Requirements
  • Previous HR experience at Advisor or Officer level, ideally within a unionized environment.
  • Completed or studying towards CIPD Level 5.
  • Experience working with and developing employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • HR systems experience, with training provided for Essity's Workday system.
  • Excellent skills in Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, a professional approach to work, respecting confidentiality, and the ability to effectively work in a changing environment.
