Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support and expertise to the University community and stakeholders in delivering our Diversity and Inclusion ambitions and driving culture change.
  • Manage and support the University's application for external Charter Marks accreditations, such as the Advance HE Race Equality Silver Award and Athena Swan Awards.
  • Collaborate with Faculties and Professional Services Associate Deans for Diversity and Inclusion to develop and implement action plans, fostering a culture that values diversity and social inclusion.
  • Develop and implement Diversity and Inclusion strategies, projects, policies, and workshops, along with a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, including employment and equality legislation.
  • Effectively develop Diversity and Inclusion priorities and implement an associated action plan that fosters a culture of inclusivity.
