About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our dedicated Diversity and Inclusion Team for a permanent part-time role (3 days a week). You'll play a vital role in advancing LJMU's Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, including supporting our application for the DWP Disability Confident Level 3 (we currently hold Level 2) and other relevant charter marks.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging training and workshop materials on crucial topics such as reasonable adjustments, adjustment planners, racial literacy, and intercultural competence.
  • Produce comprehensive guidance documents to support staff and students in navigating diversity and inclusion best practices.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to both staff and students on a wide range of diversity and inclusion matters.
  • Contribute to key University-wide Diversity and Inclusion projects, ensuring their successful implementation.
Your Skills and Experience

We're seeking an individual with proven experience in driving Diversity and Inclusion initiatives within organizations. You should possess excellent communication skills and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including web design. Experience in awareness-raising activities, facilitating workshops, and organizing events to promote inclusivity is highly desirable.
