Interpersonal Trauma Support Professional

FearLess is committed to providing responsive, victim-focused, and trauma-informed support to individuals affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. As a Domestic Abuse Response Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering this critical service.
About the Position:
The successful candidate will work across a specified number of GP practices to provide support to health professionals, individuals who have experienced interpersonal trauma, and those at risk of perpetuating abuse. This includes developing effective relationships with general practice teams, delivering training on identification, enquiry, and response for patients impacted by interpersonal trauma, and facilitating timely access to further appropriate support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with general practice teams to ensure seamless collaboration and support
Deliver training to GP surgeries on identifying and responding to domestic abuse and sexual violence
Support adults and children impacted by interpersonal trauma with emotional and practical assistance, focusing on trauma stabilization
Collaborate with external agencies to provide holistic support to service users
What You'll Need:
A deep understanding of domestic abuse and sexual violence dynamics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practices
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
