**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to support students with diverse educational needs as a Primary Teaching Assistant.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to deliver individualized learning plans, utilizing positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support students with challenging behaviours.

Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment by encouraging students to engage positively with their education, keeping detailed records of student progress and sharing updates with the wider team as needed.

With a strong focus on safeguarding practices and promoting a safe learning space, this role offers the opportunity for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with children or vulnerable individuals with additional needs is ideal.
  • Familiarity with Autism, ADHD, trauma-related behaviours, and behaviour management is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a compassionate approach are required.
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to promoting a safe learning space are necessary.
