As a Senior Care Leader at Glenholme, you will oversee the commissioning and implementation of new services in the Midlands. This role involves working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and complex needs.

Job Summary

  • To work with service users and their families to support them in making decisions about their lives and ensuring their personal needs are met.
  • Manage all aspects of running a home, including supervision of staff, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, finances, and medication management.
  • Monitor activities to ensure quality of support and care aligns with organisational policies and sector regulatory standards.
  • Create a culture of team development and collaboration that strives for best practice delivery.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in internal and external relationships and represent the organisation appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff, manage rotas, and oversee care planning, quality assurance, training, and budget management.
  • Monitor activities to ensure quality of support and care meets organisational standards.
  • Develop a collaborative team culture striving for best practice delivery.
  • Represent the organisation professionally in internal and external interactions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Care Manager in services supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, or associated complex needs.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS).
  • Experience in supporting, developing, leading, and empowering teams.
  • A relevant health or social care qualification (NVQ Level 5) or other professional qualifications like Nursing, OT, or Social Work.
  • An up-to-date understanding of best practice in managing challenging behaviour using a PBS approach.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Estimated Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, consisting of a basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus up to 10% performance-related bonus, ongoing development, training, and career advancement opportunities.
