We are a school for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs, and we are seeking a Behavioural Learning Assistant to join our team.

About the Job:

In this role, you will work closely with pupils to develop their emotional intelligence, encourage positive interactions, and promote independence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in developing emotional regulation skills
  • Engage pupils in learning activities that promote social and emotional development

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with individuals with mental health, challenging behaviour, emotional, social, ASD, and co-morbid conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
