About the Role

Aspire People is seeking a Behavioural Learning Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualised support to students, focusing on their specific needs and goals
  2. Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies
  3. Foster a positive learning environment, promoting emotional resilience and well-being
  4. Contribute to the development of students' social and academic skills

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A calm and patient approach, with a focus on building trusting relationships
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential
