This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with teachers and other school staff to provide tailored support to students with diverse needs, including learning, emotional, and physical disabilities.

  • Support students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, and other learning difficulties in a collaborative environment
  • Assist in implementing individualised learning plans (ILPs) and ensure the progress of each student
  • Foster a safe and welcoming environment for students' emotional and social development
  • Prepare resources, set up learning activities, and adapt materials for different needs
  • Support personal care tasks, as required
  • Work with teachers, therapists, and parents to provide coordinated care and support
  • Cultivate positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom

The ideal candidate will have experience in a SEN setting or supporting children with additional needs and possess strong communication skills.

  • A proactive approach and willingness to adapt to individual learning needs
  • Patient and caring attitude towards children of all abilities

An estimated salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum reflects the responsibilities and requirements of this position.
