About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Support Specialist to work with young people and adults with mental health problems, learning disabilities, and autism at Oakwood House in Stoke-on-Trent.

  • This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in care and support.
  • You will be working closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care and support services tailored to individual needs.
  • The role involves assisting the senior team with assessment, planning, and delivery of care, ensuring the highest standards of support are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide person-centered care and support to individuals with varying needs and requirements.
  • To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, carers, and relatives.
  • To participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health issues (not essential).
  • Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
