Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children with SEMH needs.
As a SEN teaching assistant, you will be working in schools to support children with SEMH needs who demonstrate challenging behaviour. Your role will involve providing pastoral support, behaviour management, and emotional regulation techniques to enable these children to engage and communicate effectively with their peers and teachers.
About the Role
- You will work closely with classroom teachers to ensure that children are kept on task and supported to manage their behaviour.
- You will be responsible for encouraging emotional regulation and supporting pupils with SEMH needs to flourish.
- You will have experience working with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs.
