Learning and Development Support Assistant

Christ Church Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning and Development Support Assistant to join our out-of-hours provision team. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with their home learning and providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive.

This role involves supervising a number of pupils in our Home Learning provision and supporting them with their home learning needs. You will work closely with our teaching staff to ensure that each pupil receives the support they require to succeed. We are looking for someone who is able to engage with pupils and support them with their home learning if needed.
As a Learning and Development Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising pupils during out-of-hours provision
- Supporting pupils with their home learning needs
- Working closely with teaching staff to ensure that each pupil receives the support they require
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £21,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive first aid training and have access to a range of employee benefits, including health insurance and pension scheme.
The successful candidate will be a person who likes to work as part of an energetic and high-performing staff team and can support and promote the Christian ethos of our school. They will also be able to engage with pupils and support them with their home learning if needed.
