SEN Learning Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEN school in Stoke, Staffordshire.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with complex needs and disabilities, including MLD, PMLD, physical needs, and a range of SEN requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing physical support and assistance as needed
  • Delivering sensory curriculum based learning activities
  • Supporting the class teacher as part of a supportive team
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working with children with SEN or disabilities
  • Happy to carry out personal care, including changing and hoists if required
  • Able to promote happiness, self-reliance, and encourage positive interactions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
