About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Hanslope Park, a key location for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). As a Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing the effectiveness of service delivery and ensuring the day-to-day operation of our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply governance to service delivery, leading on hard services and having line-management responsibilities for soft services.
  • Ensure compliance with financial accountability, public sector expenditure, Health and Safety policies, and operational obligations.
  • Lead the delivery of a project portfolio to prioritize investment, monitor the quality of delivery with service providers against agreed KPIs, and maintain operational, financial, and Health and Safety governance.
  • Support the development of a secure environment, with a strong understanding of UK Health and Safety regulatory requirements as they apply to the built environment and an operational estate.

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of statutory compliance requirements in relation to facilities management and UK legislation.
  • Well-developed experience of operating an estate and maintaining a secure environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK Health and Safety regulatory requirements as they apply to the built environment and an operational estate.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with customers and service providers.
