Pareto Facilities Management is currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to enhance our operational team.
We are in search of a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who embodies a customer-centric approach and demonstrates a commitment to resolving issues effectively.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team member, consistently striving to exceed expectations. A travelcard will be provided.
Essential Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience in a Building Services Engineer capacity
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards
- Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Possession of 17th Edition certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the timely execution of all maintenance and reactive tasks related to client assets, serving as the primary contact for M&E and Fabric issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the efficiency and safety of M&E installations, including fire safety and security systems, while coordinating with client personnel on specific needs.
- Maintain comprehensive records and management systems to meet national standards, including statutory testing and technical documentation.
- Perform necessary maintenance on M&E services and installations, covering electrical systems, heating, fire alarms, and other relevant systems.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards, within budget, and meets client satisfaction, providing regular updates to the Pareto FM Account Manager.
Support the coordination of subcontractors for routine and emergency maintenance tasks.
- Assist clients in prioritizing maintenance tasks and developing forward-looking programs and budgets.
- Help prepare planned maintenance projects, including drafting schedules and specifications, and overseeing completion.
- Provide technical M&E advice and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals on project work, sharing maintenance insights as required.
- Work with clients and Pareto FM staff to promote best practices in M&E maintenance.
- Engage with site and property teams, contributing technical expertise in areas such as health and safety and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with clients to implement the Asset Management Plan effectively.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by the client and Pareto FM Account Manager.
- Act as the primary contact for clients when issues arise.
- Be adaptable to a variety of workplace tasks to support business continuity.
