Performance Marketing Director

About this role:

We're seeking an ambitious and proactive performance marketing leader to drive a step change in effectiveness and growth for Capital One UK. As the Senior Manager - Performance Marketing, you will lead the performance marketing team and be responsible for all performance marketing channels, including PPC, SEO, display, paid social, VOD, and direct mail. You will act as the central point of contact for performance marketing strategy and results across the organisation, managing relationships with key stakeholders and proactively identifying opportunities to develop greater sophistication.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Lead the performance marketing team and develop a high-performance culture
  2. Develop and execute strategies that deliver profitable growth through performance marketing channels
  3. Manage relationships with key digital partners, including Google, Meta, and Microsoft
  4. Act as the central point of contact for performance marketing strategy and results across the organisation
  5. Proactively identify opportunities to develop greater sophistication in performance marketing
  6. Develop and implement a core audience strategy, exploring and executing plans that improve acquisition through the use of 1st party data and audience insights
  7. Manage our relationships with partners, such as Google and Microsoft, setting our agenda and leveraging joint business plans to full effect

What you'll bring:

  1. Significant experience in managing and growing an in-house performance marketing team in a high-volume B2C business
  2. Seasoned in meeting and surpassing ambitious business growth goals through performance marketing channels
  3. Proven leadership skills, taking the lead of a function and fostering a high-performance culture
  4. Experience managing and building relationships with key digital partners, including Google, Meta, and Microsoft
  5. High level of analytical rigour, with the ability to dive deep into analysis to really understand performance throughout the funnel
