Transform Markets through Innovation and Leadership

We are seeking a seasoned Market Performance Director to join our team at Entain Group, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation of our markets teams. Reporting to the Performance Director, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of projects under the Markets team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, and providing a holistic view of our roadmap across super-regions.

About the Role

  • You will define and implement the best transformation approach for our Markets teams (Ladbrokes Coral and Retail) to achieve our ambition to become a product-led organisation.
  • Promote agile methodologies and practices within these Markets teams, ensuring alignment with the wider Performance LT and the ways of working embraced by dedicated teams for our super-regions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and adaptability.
  • Analyse performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Markets team. Drive data-driven decisions across the Markets LT to achieve optimal results.
  • Oversee the portfolio of projects within the Markets team, defining and maintaining a clear roadmap for project execution across super-regions. Work with the Markets LT to prioritise projects and dedicated teams based on business impact and resource availability.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on goals and priorities. Work closely with stakeholders to gather input and feedback for continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications

  • Expert in Project/Programme Management, planning, organising, and overseeing tasks, resources, and timelines to achieve specific objectives and deliver successful outcomes within a defined scope.
  • Strong agile expertise, proven track record of working and embedding agile methodologies.
  • Strategic thinker, thinking beyond immediate tasks to contribute to long-term strategy and vision.
  • Highly experienced in Stakeholder Management.
  • Strong communicator, ability to share or understand information, ideas and feelings successfully.
  • Highly experienced in project and programme finance including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making, to support strategic goals.
  • Extensive experience with Risk Management, ability to identify, evaluate and manage risks by developing and implementing risk management strategies, frameworks, policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Expert in Resources Management, acquires, allocates and manages resources in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Proficient Technical Acumen, effectively communicate with development teams and understand technical constraints.
  • Extensive experience in Change Management, ability to plan, communicate, implement, and support the smooth transition of individuals and organisations through periods of significant change, ensuring successful adoption and minimal disruption.

Competitive Salary Package
