Job Overview

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Equipment Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality engineering support and assistance in the delivery of equipment management within the trust.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will be committed to providing best practice solutions to planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and equipment asset management. You will work closely with the team to ensure the effective medical equipment support to the various wards and departments of the trust.

Person Specification

  • Electronic engineering NVQ 4 minimum
  • Good awareness of health & safety legislation relating to electronic equipment testing
  • Ability to self-manage and work without supervision

Skills & Ability

  • Good communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Ability to be adaptable to change
